Race Information:

**New Start Time for 2014**

The race will be held on Labor Day morning, Monday September 1, 2014 at 9:15 am. The race will begin on Mill Street adjacent to Naperville North High School and end on the Eagle Street Bridge next to the Naperville Municipal Center.

No Dogs or strollers allowed in the race.




The course is mostly downhill and fast as if follows most of the parade route through downtown Naperville.

T-shirts and Race Packet Pick-Up:

The first 250 registered runners will receive a Fling Mile t-shirt. To guarantee a t-shirt, we encourage you to pre-register. Packet pickup will be held at Road Runner Sports on Saturday August 30th from 4-6 pm. Road Runner Sports is located at 2555 W 75th Street, Naperville, IL 60540. PPacket Pickup will also be held the morning of the race from 8am - 9am at the east parking lot of Naperville North High School.


Top 3 overall male and female runners and the top male and female masters will receive a cash prize. Age group winners will be awarded in the following categories: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & older. Overall male and female winners are removed from age categories.

Race Day Parking:

Parking available near the start of the race at Naperville North High School and near the finish at Naperville Central High School and the Naperville Municipal Center. It is recommended that you park near the finish, as the parade will begin immediately following the race.


The Naperville Jaycees is a non-profit service organization with more than 100 young persons dedicated to personal development through community service. The group organizes and staffs The Last Fling in close cooperation with the City of Naperville, the Naperville Park District, numerous Naperville community organizations and hundreds of volunteers. Proceeds from the Last Fling are given to nonprofit organizations in the community and throughout DuPage County. Over the past two decades, the Naperville Jaycees raised and donated more than one million dollars to various organizations in the Naperville community. Visit for more information.
